A Magical Experience

What’s the first thing that pops up into your head when you hear the word ‘Books’?

Some of you might think of some fandom, some might say boring, some might say something else. But to me, my books are my life. Soul mate to be specific.

Well, I know you guys might think I’m crazy to say so, but it’s true. A book is everything to me.

There are still many people who don’t like reading ’cause they think it’s boring and a waste of time. For them, sitting in one place and reading a book without any pictures is next to impossible. Well, they’re missing out on something enchanted and they don’t even realize it.

So, back to books. They’re the proof that magic exists! And so does Hogwarts! (Yes, I’m a Potterhead!) Just like music has genres, books have categories. For example – mystery, romantic, fiction, and the list goes on.Β It’s a completely different world you enter once you pick up a book and start reading. It doesn’t really matter how fat the book is or how tiny the font is. I still wouldn’t mind reading a book of a 5 year-old! To be honest, I’ve done that a few times. πŸ˜›

The yellow pages, the wonderful fragrance, the broken spine, all add up to the beauty of a book. Once you get your hands on a book, it takes all the strength in the world to put it down. You actually feel like a part of the book. Gradually, you get attached to the characters – you see what they see, you feel what they feel. And then, the countless stabs through the heart, broken feels and unstoppable shedding of tears begin. It surely seems like the authors love to see us in misery!

But the biggest heart breaking part is when you turn a page of the book and realize there are no more pages to be read. Now that’s what hurts the most. Being dragged back to reality is the worst!

But, the fandom is never over. The fandom goes on forever and ever. We’re all fangirls in some way, right? Fangirling just makes it all the more better.Β I bet some of you are reminded about your fandoms right now. You might as well open the tear gates a little along with all the crazy fangirling. πŸ˜‰

Now, tell me, would it be possible to leave the library after this magical experience? Nah, it isn’t for me. Like seriously, my mom has to drag me out every single time! In the end, it’s all just a game of words, isn’t it? An awesome one, I must add.

So, all you guys out there, never forget, the fandom lives within us. And to those who don’t like reading, go give it a try. Grab hold of a book, sit back and let it work it’s magic on you. Life’s gonna be pretty dull and incomplete without books, right? πŸ˜‰
